I've been to Williamsburg countless times and make a point to walk the bridge back to Manhattan. The bridge has a great view and a lot of character.
I love old buildings and this guy here is right on the East River. It's the old Domino Sugar Refinery which dates back to 1857. At one time in its history it produced more than half the sugar in the United States. As of 2017 the property is under redevelopment as office space, residential towers, and parkland. Several of the buildings in the complex were given landmark status in 2007.
